Accelerating patient access to innovative medicines and technologies

The AHSN Network and Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) are working with PrescQIPP, an organisation that supports optimised prescribing for patients, to deliver a series of webinars for those working in pharmacy and medicines.

The webinars focus on accelerating patient access to new treatments, technologies and medicines through the spread of innovative practice in service delivery via the Rapid Uptake Products (RUPs) and MedTech Funding Mandate (MTFM) programmes.

Topics will include:

  • The role of the AAC in the health and care system and how the AHSN Network can help health and care organisations to enhance pathways through the RUP and MTFM products and programmes
  • Severe/uncontrolled asthma diagnostic and treatment innovations
  • Cholesterol-lowering medicines on the lipids pathway.

There will be an opportunity for delegates to ask questions in a Q&A during each webinar.
