Event information

Come and join the Academic Health Science Network NENC (AHSN NENC) on 7th September and find out who we are, what we do and how we can help create and develop opportunities for digital innovation within Primary Care.

We are hosting four virtual events which are open to all who work within primary care; clinicians, pharmacists, optometrists, dentists, nurses, healthcare assistants, clerical staff etc.

During these events, the AHSN NENC aims to develop a broader understanding of the needs and challenges in Primary Care and to identify areas where innovation could save money, relieve clinical pressures and overall improve patient care.

The main aims of these events are to;

  • Introduce our ‘Digital Pioneers’ programme of work, covering the three pillars of work – the innovation pathway, digital champions and communities of practice.
  • Develop your understanding of the Innovation Pathway, taking an idea from conception to spread and adoption.
  • Develop learning around our CPD accredited Digital Champions workshops; who can apply? How much time does it take? What are the benefits?
  • Discover digital innovation case studies within Primary Care, delivered by innovators within the NHS setting.
  • Provide an open space for discussion around digital innovation in Primary Care.

By attending this session you will gain a better understanding of opportunities available to primary care to develop and deploy digital innovation and how this can benefit patients and staff. You will also have the opportunity to sign up for our Digital Champion workshops, supported by Redmoor Health.
