Webinar 3 will focus on supporting the Implementation of SMRs for patients on potentially addictive medications.

About this event

AHSN NENC is working with Health Education England to develop a Community of Practice for PCN Pharmacy Professionals within NENC Integrated Care System. This is the third in a series of networking meetings and will focus on sharing best practice and resources on supporting the Implementation of SMRs for patients on potentially addictive medications across the region.

The Community of Practice (CoP) has the support of senior pharmacy managers within NENC ICS and will have the following aims and objectives:

Aim

  • To create community of practice for PCN pharmacy representatives working in primary care in NENC

Objectives

  • To support the development of a leadership structure and create a platform for lead primary care pharmacy professionals to identify, share and communicate common issues across the ICS
  • To facilitate networking, sharing of best practice, to improve effective use of resources and reduce duplication
  • To promote quality improvement and primary care research
  • To provide series of locally focussed webinars on priority topics to promote available tools and resources and share best practice

The webinar is open to pharmacy professionals working in the Primary Care setting in NENC.
