Rapid insights into Digital GP Solutions during COVID-19

As part of the ongoing work on ‘deployment and evaluation of digital solutions’, surveys have been carried out across the North East North Cumbria and Yorkshire and Humber regions to understand the adoption and impact of digital solutions on GP practices, particularly the use of online consultation, video consultation and SMS messaging.

509 individuals submitted a survey across the North East and Yorkshire region between 30th May and 12th June 2020. Of these 224 (44%) were primary care clinicians and 201 (39.5%) were practice managers.  43 (8.5%) classified themselves as clerical staff, 9 as commissioners and 1 secondary care clinician and 31 (6%) other.

Survey data from across the region can be found below. Analysis of the surveys is currently underway and the findings will be available soon.
